Yukon Paddle 2015 - Northwest Cadets
WHITEHORSE – Yukon Paddle challenged 12 gold star cadets who participated in a five-day canoe expedition on the Yukon River. The cadets paddled up to 10 hours daily for five days and travelled by canoe more than 400 kilometers.  The  expedition took place from 21 Aug to 2 Sept 2015, and was supervised by four experienced CIC Officers.  Yukon Paddle was based at Whitehorse Cadet Training Centre and conducted by Regional Cadet Support Unit (Northwest). Expeditions are conducted within the Army Cadet program to develop leadership skills while enhancing self-confidence, self-reliance and self-discipline.  Photo by Capt Grant Cree.
